In a world he calls "Desert Gothic Noir," director John Lacy has laid out a hauntingly desperate, spontaneously violent, and surprisingly tender landscape that audiences are sure to embrace. A struggling stand up comic kidnaps his party-girl ex-wife to prevent her from winning sole custody of their young son. What happens at a remote cabin in the high desert of California will settle the score - and it's no laughing matter.

A truly gripping film from beginning to end. Josh Daugherty plays one of his most engaging and emotional roles to date, and the rest of the cast perform beautifully. Highly recommended!
