Composed of intimate and unencumbered moments of people in a community, this film is constructed in a form that allows the viewer an emotive impression of the Historic South - trumpeting the beauty of life and consequences of the social construction of race, while simultaneously a testament to dreaming.
Fantastic movie, my wife and I loved it.
I can watch this movie over and over great production well played!

Hale'i maakond hommikul, õhtul movie done well. The script was well written. These movie is one of my favorites. Its actually addicting and it's something that i could watch over and over.
Very enjoyable, not the best but still great.
One of the greatest films ever made. Please do not watch it on TV because RaMell Ross tuned the editing in such a precise way that simply pausing for a commercial break can literally affect the way your brain processes this masterpiece.
In this surprisingly good movie, Maya Krinsky raise interesting questions, but use a different angle this time around.
I watched it twice over the weekend.
Excellent cinematography! Excellent story! The acting by everyone is excellent! Quincy Bryant is great! Playing the role with curiosity and bravery. RaMell Ross, looking very cool, plays just fine, giving the character a sweet and tender touch. The two have great chemistry.
