Chiri tsubaki

Uryu Shinbei appeals his boss's corruption and his appeal is denied. He is kicked out from the han. Shortly afterwards, his wife Shino collapses from a disease and dies. Right before her death, she tells Shinbei, "I hope you go back to the han and help Uneme Sakakibara." Shinbei and Uneme were friends, but they became rivals to gain Shino's affection. Uneme is also related to Shinbei's exile.

Samurai's Promise is nothing like your average Hollywood movie. It is really something you should see for yourself.

Samurai's Promise is a quirky movie. I recommend this to people who want to see something they've never seen before.

All the actors made the characters breathe an essence which is integral to the script and the director captured it the best way possible. But Hidetoshi Nishijima is definitely the soul of this movie.

Takashi Koizumi is an impeccable storyteller. That’s why was astonishing and spectacular!

Samurai's Promise is nothing short of an amazing movie. If there's anything I can say, it's that it is the best movie I have seen. Not only does it have the impressive set pieces and enough action to last you a lifetime, it has an emotional core and you actually get to care about each and every single character.

I've lost count of the number of times I have seen this movie, but it is more than 20.
