Okajima, a senior at Toridesaka University who has dedicated himself to the sport of bouldering, is facing a crisis. With his graduation imminent, he is the only member of the bouldering club. It needs at least seven members to stay in existence. Determined not to let the long history of the club end at his generation, Okajima desperately solicits new students and, after a lot of hard work, manages to recruit six new members: Arai, Momoda, Takaido, Nakamichi, Kuwamoto, and Kawaguchi. However, with the exception of Kawaguchi, they are all beginners.
The actors do a good job. Nice story.
Don't wait until it comes out on DVD, go and watch it at your local cinema, you won't be disappointed!
Kenji Takami movie is nothing short of a classic masterpiece, like all of his movies of course!
One of the greatest films ever made. Please do not watch it on TV because Yukinori Makabe tuned the editing in such a precise way that simply pausing for a commercial break can literally affect the way your brain processes this masterpiece.
Can watch it 10 times and still see new things you missed. Yukinori Makabe is a genius!
And the conclusion! The underlying themes were brought together in the most masterful way I've seen in a while!!!
This movie is a gem screenplay, direction, music, acting in every department it scores 10 on 10.
Great cast, acting and directing. Loved it, very entertaining.
It is a great story!!! Yukinori Makabe and his crew obviously put a lot of time into the story.
What a fantastic time!
