Pond Life

Summertime, 1994. In a quiet mining village just outside Doncaster, a rumour stirs about the legend of a giant carp in the nearby decoy ponds. Trevor takes watch one night at the water's edge. The following night, he decides to lead a brigade of young friends and neighbours on a fishing expedition. In a world of broken families, cassette tapes and rumbling political fever, these friends, each with their own struggles to bear, share a moment of harmony as they witness the carp for themselves that they will never forget.

I admit it, I watched it because of Esme Creed-Miles... and I would again. I enjoyed it.

Can watch it 10 times and still see new things you missed. Bill Buckhurst is a genius!

Best Drama movie I've seen. Better than all movies of recent time.

I'm surprised I've not watched it sooner but hugely enjoyed every moment of this film. This film is up there in my top 10 films!

Gianlucca Galluci was one of the big reasons this movie was so brilliant. I was surprised more than anything I could imagine.

WOW! This movie is Richard Cameron Masterpiece! It’s the incarnation of "cool-awesome-amazing". for me it combines everything I wish in one single movie!

Gianlucca Galluci is so talented he just makes almost every film he touches a hit! His performance in this Film is no exception.
