The Amaranth

Shot almost entirely on location in Idaho's Wood River Valley, The Amaranth is an isolated, luxury retirement village where the privileged and powerful live out their twilight years with amazing vitality. Here is where wealthy industrialist Richard Kendrick relocates, along with his younger wife, Lily, after he suffers a debilitating stroke. But while Richard is rejuvenated, thriving in the cultish atmosphere, Lily is disturbed by the transformations she observes in her spouse, then shocked by changes in her own physiology, prompting her to probe into the dark underbelly of this strange and beautiful Shangri La.

Acting and directing were very good.

I enjoyed this movie. So did my husband, cause he didn’t fell asleep through the movie.

I continue to be blown away at how fantastic this film is. It is executed with extreme precision. Every aspect of the film, all the way from visuals to the character development, is masterful.

Jeffrey DeMunn acting performance was exceptional!

I would highly recommend that anyone who is deciding whether or not to go and see it does; you will most likely love it.

Christopher Denham, Christopher Denham, Christopher Denham WOW! He simply steals the show!!! I also liked the nice subtle expressions by Danielle Kennedy. Simply good acting.

Well thought out Thriller and story line. I'll watch it again.
