Barbie, the most popular doll ever created is a fashion icon and a target for feminists. This telling documentary features new footage, access to Barbie's biggest reinvention, and examines over 60 years of women through the lens of an 11.5 inch plastic doll.
All the actors made the characters breathe an essence which is integral to the script and the director captured it the best way possible. But Roxane Gay is definitely the soul of this movie.
When I saw Barbie the Documentary for the first time I just fell in love with the film. It is definitely a true masterpiece with a classic story!
Barbie the Documentary is nothing short of an amazing movie. If there's anything I can say, it's that it is the best movie I have seen. Not only does it have the impressive set pieces and enough action to last you a lifetime, it has an emotional core and you actually get to care about each and every single character.
This movie was so Awesome. I enjoyed myself throughout the whole movie. A perfect Gloria Steinem and a beautiful Peggy Orenstein.
It was a decent movie. Very entertaining!
Little cheezy at times but I do like it.
This is my favorite film of all times; Andrea Blaugrund Nevins at his very best!
