Born in a simple family in Tarakan does not make Onggy (Dion Wiyoko) to stop dreaming. He wants to see the world, get out of Borneo. After getting the blessing from his family, Onggy goes to continue his studies to Surabaya. Armed with the values of life given by his father (Chew Kin Wah), Onggy undergoes his business struggles: ranging from selling apple, roasted corn, and crackers. Then Candra (Laura Basuki) comes into his life by accident in a beauty salon. Onggy does not wait long to marry Candra. Together with Candra, he undergoes a process of achieving his goals.
Absolutely outstanding true movie! Will watch it again and again!
This is on the list of one of my favorite movies.
I have watch every Drama movie this last 35 years and I can assure you this one is the best I ever seen. That’s just perfect. Everything is perfect OST, Camera, script, acting, ideas ALL GOOD!
A brilliant new take on the classic Drama genre! Truly unique and more than we could have expected or predicted!
