A coming-of-age war musical about a small town boy who gets chosen to serve his compulsory two year military training in the South African Defence Force Choir and Concert group- known as the "Canaries"- during the height of the Apartheid regime.

Amazing!! Destined to be one of the best movies ever made!!!! The film is very emotional, and Germandt Geldenhuys live it perfectly but Hannes Otto is mesmerising.

Without giving away too much, Schalk Bezuidenhout just kills it. He is one class actor. The impressions his portrayal gives us is that he was born to play this role!
