Jane McKendrick is a single mother determined to protect her teenage daughter Betsy from the harsh realities of life. But just before Christmas, Betsy falls in love with an enlisted man who will soon ship out. Wanting to spare her daughter from the same heartache she suffered when her husband was killed while on active duty when Betsy was young, Jane tries to persuade her to abandon the romance. Little does Jane realize that she and her daughter are about to learn important lessons of the heart and discover that taking chances can sometimes lead to the most extraordinary happy endings.
I am not a fan Anthony Konechny, but that aside, he is excellent and never seems to age, and his energy is great. So is Catherine Bell and the entire cast. The cinematography is amazing
A must-see! Especially for every lover of the unusual, Romance and strange.
VERY GOOD, NICE, PERFECT MOVIE. I'm a huge fan of Jennifer Aspen, I watched his every single movie. I love all of them, but this gave me a different feel and enjoyment when i was watching it!
I must've watched this movie 20+ times, and I still love this movie.
There are some beautiful shots and colours in this film! It's amazing for its plot setting, pace, visual effect, music etc.
Out of those that I have watched, this would have to be my least favorite David Golden film. Considered one of the best films of all time.
Anthony Konechny and Catherine Bell give great performances. The plot is sometimes heartbreaking, but mostly interesting and it's easy to get into and get into the characters on their journey through this movie.
There are so many things I'd like to say about this film - I could write a dissertation!
