After the passing of her mother, Karen moves back to her hometown on the Oregon coast. Between working at a porn shop and selling alcohol to kids at a local high school; her life is truly at a dead end. Sleeping during the day and working at night, Karen finds herself desperate for something more. One night while working, a customer comes into the shop asking for "sleep tapes". These illicit recordings of people sleeping immediately pique Karen's interest, and a bond is formed between the two. As Karen delves deeper into her newfound hobby, her life begins to unravel in the most dysphoric of ways. Karen Doesn't Dream is neither a thriller nor a pure character study, but rather a tense and moody look at how far the search for sensation will take someone. With a bleak, eerie, and quiet style that reflects her state of mind, the heart of this film is revealed in not only what Karen feels, but in what she doesn't.
A good story line, a brilliant roles played by a collection of lovely actors & actresses, a good filming!
How movies are supposed to end!!
Recommend! Tamara Szalewski, Jessica Lynn Skinner. Nuff said.
Brilliant! This movie is proof that you don't need all the special effects in the world to make an amazing Drama movie.
Perfect film for a movie night. It's intense, has plenty of action and great story. Tamara Szalewski was good but Jessica Lynn Skinner was most impressive. Great performance from both. Very confident.
OMG this is crazy! Almost No Detail miss, Story-line is perfect. Its a brand new story. No copycat. And nice chemistry between Tamara Szalewski and Jessica Lynn Skinner
Great Directing from Zach Huckaby. The cinematography was stunning throughout the whole film.

I can't think of a word good enough to describe this! The first thing I said to my boyfriend when the movie ended is "I'm almost positive this is going to make the top 250!
Well-acted by a great cast. Entertaining. Pulled me into story and interested until the end.
