The tragedy experienced by the main characters Erlan and Dauren, not only destroyed the old friendship, but also spread them on the different sides of the lattice. Against the backdrop of a conflict between former friends, and now a soldier and a prisoner, events break out that will make them make a difficult choice. This choice changed the history and attitude to true heroism.
Excellent gritty film that concentrates on a few strong performances! Ruslan Astamirov and Yedil Anarbai stole the show. Cinematography was amazing and the rest of the cast each played their part very well.

I really loved this movie and wished it were longer. Can't ever get enough Ruslan Astamirov or Yedil Anarbai and I could "feel" the talent of the professional actors!
