Language and ugly things

Actor Mikael Rahm lives in Oviken in northern Sweden. He has a collection of characters within him that formally bubbles up. They all speak the extinct language Jamska. At Mikael's home we meet a wonderful collection of kitschy items. He can not stop collecting all these ugly items that make him so curious. Some years ago he received the catastrophic message that he had a heavy cancer. Due to this he had to remove parts of his tongue. One of his most important tools was changed forever. To be able to tell all these stories he has to work hard to learn to talk again.
