Aníbal González - "DON CONY", and his brother Christian González - "KITTY" were born and raised in Marconi neighborhood, which is considered one of the most dangerous zones of Montevideo, Uruguay. Today, they struggle to make a living while writing songs denouncing the reality where they live in. The Forgotten begins with archives from 2012, when a young man of the neighborhood was shot dead by police. And it ends in 2016 with the death of another young man in similar circumstances. The documentary shows the neighborhood through the eyes of DON CONY and KITTY in between of these two events.
