I'm pretty grateful to the makers of the film because Endô-ka isan sensô was surprising and amazing!
This movie is absolutely one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life.
It was perfect. Plain and simple.
Hidekazu Takahara really surprised me! Not only did he assemble a surprisingly talented cast, but he was able to make you really connect with the situation.
I’ve seen Endô-ka isan sensô movie over 100 times, no kidding. It never gets old and I’ve seen the different versions of the film on many different formats at this point.

What a brilliant film! Acting wise, Yasushi Takemoto puts in an excellent performance as the lead, and supporting actors such as Misaki Enomoto, also put in solid performances.
