"It Happened in Ingermanland" - about a forgotten people's displacement that took place during the Stalin's reign of terror in the Soviet Union. During the WW2, when the Nazi army arrived in the area of St. Peterburg/Leningrad about 63 000 Ingermanlanders was deported to Finland. In 1946 Stalin wanted them back for his work camps. About 5 000 fled to Sweden and settled there.
All of the actors are fantastic too, Maria Korkka is the stand out here. Yes, this is probably due to the fact he is the star and given all of the emotional weight
Very good. Recommend.
Pretty good Documentary movie. It was good most of the time
Fantastic! Each character had their own unique voice and their own unique reaction to the situation at hand. Boris Kransvik and Maria Korkka were the only actors who I knew fairly well beforehand. However, after watching the film twice, I became a fan of everyone.
Anneli Kustfält doesn't do bad movies. Always fun to watch
I was not disappointed! I enjoyed this movie and will recommend it.
The film is excellent, the acting by both Boris Kransvik and Maria Korkka are just fabulous, and the plot is mind blowing.
