Visually Fascinating - First time film maker Logan MacDonald follows and chronicles the exploits, art and life of an artist who sells on the streets of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Salt Lake. This artist Mike Fahl who claims to have had a spiritual epiphany and leaped off a roof towards a cloud-ladder falls breaking his feet and spine. This documentary speaks of this event and furthers an exploration into the mind and expansive variations of visual art work produced by this psychotic, drug using personality. This documentary captures the semi-dystopic artwork and semi-amiable personality of this functionally Schizoaffective personality. Other Artists, friends, craftspeople and family make commentary around the evolving situation concerning this influential artist. One is left empathizing with the opened-ended struggle for American Posterity. Fight-club type masochism mixed with the entangled influences of Low-Brow, Surreal and classical western artwork emanates from Mike Fahl. Other artists working to define themselves as well as garnering adoration from the public will enjoy this film. People interested in spirituality, masochism, psychology or the perils of being a street artists will be intrigued by this film to see what they are up against.

This movie is everything I had hoped it to be and far, far more. Literally every choice they made while making it was a right one.
