Margem Esquecida: Forgotten Riverside
In this "no comment" documentary, the author invites the audience to compare the fate of the two sides of river Tagus in the Lisbon metro area. While the north, blessed by the investments in infrastructures as consequence of the last world expo of the XXth century (Expo'98), blossomed from a decadent industrial era to a new sophisticated, ecologically sustained and culture driven paradigm, the south saw its previous leading and pioneering status in the industrial age crumble into vacant buildings and debris. Two realities - so close, so far away.
