"I thought I was doing everything right- get married, have kids- and then they changed the rules on me" Documentary filmmaker, Naomi Wise turns the camera on her mother, Rhoda, and interviews her about her 50 year marriage to her father, about motherhood and career. 16mm home movies and photos are inter cut with present day scenes of her mother preparing an elaborate Passover meal while her father relaxes watching television, Rhoda is an intimate portrayal of a marriage that addressed the experience of many women who came of age in the 1950's and lived through the feminist movement and societal changes of the 1970's.

This was a very entertaining Documentary movie. Definitely would recommend!

All the actors made the characters breathe an essence which is integral to the script and the director captured it the best way possible. But Rhoda Wise is definitely the soul of this movie.
