Thirsty

A Canadian Exclusive Vancouver's finest Hip Hop Retrospective from 1997-2008. In the years between 1997 and 2008 the Hip Hop Scene in Vancouver Bc was quite vibrant. Female and male artists were not really recognized by Canadian music industry professionals in terms of taking them serious as artists in the field of Hip Hop. But there were lots, most of them really original , most of them conscious rappers who never bought into the MTV hype era. They stayed true to themselves, were informed about the world around them and just did their thing without having major Labels attached or major success. This Story comes from straight from the heart. Give Vancouver the respect it deserves better now than never. Today not much has changed since the late 90's - a city portrait of wilder times. Major success stories out of Canada you can count on one hand.
