The Longest Walk

American Indian Movement leaders on Alcatraz Island, lead a pipe ceremony at the start of the February 11, 1978 Longest Walk - a spiritual walk across the United States opposing anti-Indian legislation that was before congress, while we hear a riveting speech is given by Dr. Lehman L. Brightman on the capital steps, in Washington, D.C at the conclusion of the walk, July 15, 1978. Chief Eagle Feather, Dennis Banks, Max Bear, Lehman Brightman, Vernon Bellecourt, Clyde Bellecourt, Buffie Saint Marie, among others, appear in the film.

This movie really exceeded my expectations. Dana Plays is very talented.

I don't often see a modern film that I thoroughly enjoy, but this is one of the exceptions. From the start, you are immersed in the movie.

First at all this movie is one of the best movies I've ever watched. The visuals, the actors, the story, the sounds, the music, everything is so pretty! Clyde Bellecourt plays her role beautifully and charming. Max Bear never played better. You won't see such a movie ever again
