Playing Egmont

The concepts of music, Beethoven, two-note martyrdom, and the human attempt at excellence are encountered by a university orchestra as they transform notes inked on paper 200 years ago into sound in the air. This short doc is structured in sonata form, mirroring the piece of music performed. Featuring the Western Michigan University Orchestra.
