Along the Valley Train

Towards the end of 1947, the legendary Valley Train connecting Haifa and Damascus ceased operations. In 2016, the new line follows the old, connecting Haifa to Beit She'an. The new railroad blusters its way into the calm, sleepy valley. This film describes the people who live alongside the Valley Train tracks, a gallery of fascinating, authentic and occasionally verging on delusional narratives from people whose essence is indelibly stamped with the landscape of their birth. This is a poetic charming film takes a nostalgic, surreal, funny and entertaining stroll, with love and longing for the 'Valley".
