Magic Kimono

Japanese woman Keiko (played by Kaori Momoi (Marshall's "Memoirs of a Geisha", Miike's "Sukiyaki Western Django")) has been living in a shelf for decades due to a family tragedy in Kobe and is not able to bid farewell to her past. Without a passion she joins a group of Japanese women traveling to Northern Europe to participate in a kimono show. Unintentionally Keiko has been pulled in a vortex of events making her as a local celebrity. Confusion and despair turns to self-confidence until Keiko comes face to face with her mysterious and almost otherworldly-like husband (played by Issey Ogata (Scorsese's "Silence", Sokurov's "The Sun")) who disappeared twenty years ago.

One of the best movies of all time and most likely the best Drama I have ever watched.

Some may say this is a usual Maris Martinsons movie. NOO! This movie was amazing to watch.

Maris Martinsons has crafted a wildly creative, utterly original and bold film!

All around very good movie

This is the first time I’m writing a review because i was so happy leaving the theater. The movie has it all. Great actors, a very, very, VERY great script and a awesome story.

Big, Bold, Exciting - a true triumph! I was absolutely blown away and remember thinking throughout the film - I want more of this - up until the end when I was generally sorry to be leaving the cinema.

Awesome job on producing the movie. Very intense! Kept me on edge.
