Set in a post-apocalyptic 1950's, the Fitzroy hotel, a derelict submarine beached just off Margate, is the last place for a traditional British summer holiday. Bernard, the hotel's bellboy, cook, maintenance man and general dogsbody faces a constant battle to keep the decaying hotel airtight and afloat. But when he falls in love with the scheming femme-fatal Sonya, he is thrown into a web of lies, backstabbing and chaos. As his world implodes, Bernard must choose between the woman he things he loves and the hotel submarine keeping them all alive.
Great movie. Kept my attention all the way through it.
Loved this movie. I was not sure at first, but it turned out to be awesome!!!
I have to say it is the best movie ever. The directors made no mistakes. It is just perfect!
I was very impressed with this movie. This movie is definitely worth watching.
This movie is freaking amazing! David Gant does an awesome job of a gripping tale!
First at all this movie is one of the best movies I've ever watched. The visuals, the actors, the story, the sounds, the music, everything is so pretty! Jan Anderson plays her role beautifully and charming. Kenneth Collard never played better. You won't see such a movie ever again
This movie rocked the house! Jan Anderson was excellent in this because of his huge amount of likability and charms, but was frightened and tense when he needed to be. But Kenneth Collard is definitely the best performance of the movie!
This film really is everything the critics have been saying. Stupendous, visually spellbinding, brilliantly acted and very funny.
The best movie I've had the pleasure of watching in years. David Gant was excellent in this movie.
This was one of those rare movies that kept my attention. The scenes where amazing, acting was spot on. Stuart McGugan was the best thing about this film! I'd get it 11 stars if I could.
