Two teens, both dealing with a harsh home life, find solace in friendship. Lisa is a timid soul, sulking in the loss of her loving mother. Jenny is a tough girl from the streets of Los Angeles, dealing with the death of her father. When Lisa moves to LA, she meets Jenny and the two develop an unlikely bond. One thing they do have in common is perpetual abuse at home from their single parent. Through thick and thin, they have each others backs around every corner from cheating boyfriends to street fights. But when even darker secrets are revealed in their lives, they realize that they need each other more than ever.
Very moving, very touching. For that alone, it deserves unalloyed plaudits.
I can't think of a word good enough to describe this! The first thing I said to my boyfriend when the movie ended is "I'm almost positive this is going to make the top 250!
just go and watch it and be prepared to be blown away. Literally.
Excellent cinematography! Excellent story! The acting by everyone is excellent! Alyssa Elle Steinacker is great! Playing the role with curiosity and bravery. Sam Lant, looking very cool, plays just fine, giving the character a sweet and tender touch. The two have great chemistry.
Enjoyable story and well acted
When you are using real actors and not "reheated" stars alongside silly semi-amateurs, plus a script that does not self plagiarize, any movie can only be good and very good!
Most compact, most mature and best done in very aspects, and perhaps it's the best movie from Antoine Mizel.
