The Accused

What happens when someone is accused of a crime so serious it could land them in prison for a decade or more? This documentary reveals the inside story of a suspect's journey through the British criminal justice system. In 2014, 21-year-old Kenzey phoned NHS Direct to report that her 7-month-old daughter was displaying signs of severe trauma. Shortly after, she was charged with child cruelty and failing to protect her daughter from a violent assault by her boyfriend. With unprecedented access to a defendant, her family and her legal team this tense documentary charts every twist and turn of the case following Kenzey up to and through her trial, as her legal team mounts her defence to avert a possible jail sentence of 10 years or more.

This is one of my favorite Steven Mackintosh of all time this is one I will for sure be owning when it comes out!

It takes a very good movie to keep my attention. I found I had to remind myself to keep breathing!!

I have watch every Crime movie this last 35 years and I can assure you this one is the best I ever seen. That’s just perfect. Everything is perfect OST, Camera, script, acting, ideas ALL GOOD!
