''THE DAY OF THE PURPLE SUN'': The cosmos of the incurable Margarethe. Her journey through the mysteries of the Egypt underworld. Will she be coming forth by day?
The action was constant edge of the set stuff, the locations stunning, the CGI, the acting excellent. I left the cinema saying I wanted to go back in to see it again
Loved it! Busting to go to the loo (far too much Diet Coke)! but didn't want to miss a minute of this cracker of sparky and sparkly joyous romp.
Big, Bold, Exciting - a true triumph! I was absolutely blown away and remember thinking throughout the film - I want more of this - up until the end when I was generally sorry to be leaving the cinema.
Very very very entertaining and thrilling film! Margarethe von Stern was by far my favorite character in this movie! She was great in this movie, so slick and cool!! And of course Carsten Frank is great in here, such a great hero, as he is in most movies.
The reason I feel that this movie is such a TRIUMPH is the same reason I feel I lead a fulfilling life. I strive to live in the moment...to view my journey in life as exactly that: a journey.
From beginning to end. Just watch it. No regrets.
Don't take it too seriously and you'll have a blast!
One of the best movies for Drama lovers
Very moving, very touching. For that alone, it deserves unalloyed plaudits.
When you are using real actors and not "reheated" stars alongside silly semi-amateurs, plus a script that does not self plagiarize, any movie can only be good and very good!
My hat off to lead cast and Carsten Frank. Great job!!! And I am going to see it again.
