Helena's husband has gone off with a younger woman. Christmas is coming, life is slow and nothing is as it used to be. Helena is getting anxious about spending Christmas alone. Her best friend invites her to spend Christmas on a farm - only place she can afford.

I just watched Karácsonyfalva, it doesn’t have any flaws, and overall the story was interesting, and the video effects were nothing short of amazing.

The movie of course belongs to Niina Koponen and Eino Heiskanen, both fine accomplished actors who deliver all that is expected and more. Credit is also due to the script - simple, elegant, yet intelligent to make the audience focus.

Karácsonyfalva is nothing like your average Hollywood movie. It is really something you should see for yourself.
