Armand, the bookish son of Iranian immigrants who's completely smitten by Leila, an Arab girl from the banlieue enrolled with Armand in Paris' prestigious Sciences Po university. The two are set to spend a few months in New York interning at the United Nations, but those plans quickly unravel when Leila's brother, Mahmoud, returns from an extended trip to the Middle East as a full-blown Islamist replete with beard, prayer beads and a desire to quell his sister's profane Western ways.
Perfect film for a movie night. It's intense, has plenty of action and great story. Félix Moati was good but Camélia Jordana was most impressive. Great performance from both. Very confident.
Félix Moati and Camélia Jordana give great performances. The plot is sometimes heartbreaking, but mostly interesting and it's easy to get into and get into the characters on their journey through this movie.
It was a great movie. Nice story and good acting.
Awesome job on producing the movie. Very intense! Kept me on edge.
The action was constant edge of the set stuff, the locations stunning, the CGI, the acting excellent. I left the cinema saying I wanted to go back in to see it again
great story & performance
This movie was delightful, actually. Never been a big William Lebghil fan, but he was outstanding here.
Loved it! Busting to go to the loo (far too much Diet Coke)! but didn't want to miss a minute of this cracker of sparky and sparkly joyous romp.
This movie was absolutely stunning, and I loved every minute of it
