Milena travels to a remote opal mining community to see her estranged, ill father. Lost and alone, she falls into his bewildering world, where men escape society and share ideals of freedom. Soon, he doesn't want her to leave. Stuck in time, father and daughter try to mend their fractured bond, but their connection is fragile, like the strange, colourful gems he digs up from the earth.

Kate Cheel is excellent in the role, it is his best role in years! I like this movie so much and I would not even think to put a spoiler in my review but encourage everyone to see this on the big screen!!!!

I dunno why folks panned this movie. It was actually very entertaining to watch. Isaac Wall delivers a good movie.

Here's a fine example of a film that may makes up for an exciting watch due to its director Alena Lodkina extra-ordinary sense of creating spectacles that feel like breathing artworks.
