Bonnie, a young and successful Latina architect, is sexually assaulted while walking home from an evening out with friends in Brooklyn. At first, she attempts to keep the assault a secret from her long-term boyfriend Matt, but the truth quickly emerges. She emphatically denies the impact of what has just happened to her. She fights to regain normalcy and control of her life, but returning to her old life is more complicated than expected. Her attempt to recapture the intimacy she previously had with Matt falters and cracks begin to surface in their relationship. Another attack in the neighborhood only drives Bonnie further into denial, before an encounter with an at-risk woman causes her to face the truth and confront her own self-blame.
I will never get tired of this movie. It’s a funny, quirky, feel good movie. I love Conrad Ricamora!
This film gave me everything I love in movie, a powerful story and more than enough edge-of-your-seat action sequences.
Catherine Curtin a good actor. It was pretty entertaining, I recommend it
I can honestly admit that it was better than I was originally expecting!
This is the first time I’m writing a review because i was so happy leaving the theater. The movie has it all. Great actors, a very, very, VERY great script and a awesome story.
Excellent film!!!! But then again I feel Michael Stahl-David can't make a bad movie :-)
My life is forever changed due to this movie.
If I would have know it was Catherine Curtin i would not have watched it but it was a good movie. He played a good part.
