No Resolution explores the relationship of never-was musician, Cary, and his newly pregnant fiancé, Jean, as they struggle with concepts of family and settling down. New Year's Eve becomes a fitting backdrop for the disparity of their combined future; Jean longs for a nice night staying in, but the temptations of a decadent evening are too much for Cary to avoid. The engaged couple reaches a boiling point of anger and resentment as their upstairs neighbors stoke the flames with a raging New Year's party.
First off I just want to stress that this is absolutely the kind of film you want to see on the big screen; don't wait for it to come out on DVD! Needless to say, the cast was phenomenal: Maura Kidwell, Emma Neira! They are born for these roles

Great movie! Totally unexpected and gets a little more serious than I thought it would from title picture.
Love this movie. I'm so happy I watched it.
Maura Kidwell kept this movie train moving along while Emma Neira was in his element. It’s not a film that is going to have you guessing what is going to happen next but it's enjoyable from start to finish. It's a holiday
