Izumi is an urchin who was set adrift by his parents. He is a thug, a thief and a predator. on the run from the cops he takes to the mountains of Miyazaki in southern Japan where he happens to come to the aid of an older local woman. Staying at the woman's house he is taken in not only by her, but also by the villagers. It can but only affect him.

WOW. This film was a breath of fresh air! Mina Fujii and Kazuyuki Aijima did awesome job! Mina Fujii was excellent at playing and does it flawlessly. The body language, facial expressions, etc., he does it perfectly! Kazuyuki Aijima was very good at playing his role; bringing charisma, a little humor, and a good amount of authority and responsibility.

Perfect film for a movie night. It's intense, has plenty of action and great story. Mina Fujii was good but Kazuyuki Aijima was most impressive. Great performance from both. Very confident.

Out of those that I have watched, this would have to be my least favorite Shinji Azuma film. Considered one of the best films of all time.
